What We Do
CHP Network
We host a national network of Community Development practitioners and stakeholders working across the Community Housing Provider CHP) sector to improve the lives of people in community housing. By sharing practice wisdom, evidence and theory-informed approaches, CDA fosters innovation, collaboration and leadership in CD practice.
CDA recognises the vital role of CHPs in fostering inclusive communities through housing, support, engagement, and advocacy. CHP-led community development includes targeted initiatives that enhance wellbeing and social inclusion through engagement, capacity building, and place-based programs.

Steering Committee
Our CHP Network Steering Committee sets direction for the national network through leadership, governance, strategic initiatives, advocacy, membership coordination and strategic direction. CHIA represents community housing for broader sector representation.
